Buying foreclosures in the United states

First, is this a good time to buy in the US and second, what are some of the ways that I could find out about foreclosure properties for sale?

Hard to say if it is a good time to buy, things are still pretty unknown.

I'd wait to see what happens with Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac
