I am looking at building up my own real estate website. Anybody have an idea on a good web hosting company. This would be my first time to focus RE online. Any idea is good! Thanks!

I used to say GoDaddy is a good hosting provider but based on my previous experience, I would recommend to stay out of their shadows. Try some other hosting like bluehost or hostigator, they are good!
Why? What happened with GoDaddy? I think they are the number one hosting company in terms of sales and number of clients.

You might want to read some hosting reviews first. Check this review site: http://hostingsitereviews.com/

And yes, they didn't review GoDaddy in there.
Not because they are number one means they are the best, or at least the friendliest. Search around and you will find a lot of complaints with their service.

Let's just say one of my domains got blocked because some internet guy accused that the domain is being spammed in emails. Apparently some competitor worked a blackhat counter-tactics on my site.

Should I try consulting hosting review sites? What are your thoughts on this?
You can do that, but be careful, a lot of these review sites offer only POSITIVE reviews, why? Because they get commissions once they make a sign up for the hosting plan. :)

Bluehost is a good choice. They have an excellent customer support that goes very well with great bulk plans.
There is no harm in trying. However don't see the reviews of the sites are designed in promoting host sites. You won't get anything useful from them.

No matter what happens do go for free webhosting. They can terminate your account without notice. Besides, who cannot afford a $6 hosting fee per month?
These are the two sites that I check if I want a web hosting review:

http://webhostinggeeks.com/
http://reviews.cnet.com/web-hosting/

I don't doubt their credibility.
I use yahoo hosting at 11.95 per month. Check out www.verticalpassing.com for website design
