My friend is interested in buy a studio condo in Hawaii for around 150,000 dollars.
What do you guys think of this? Is this a good investment? How easy or hard it is to find tenants that could occupy that unit?

That sounds like a good deal. It's a nice property. I don't see any reason why it would not be, if I think of the the good things that come with Hawaii, fresh air, nature, fruits, grand vacation... makes me want to surf straight there!
I agree, I wanna buy it myself and have an early retirement there. What a property! I'll try to get some pictures and I'll post them here.

Surfing, hawaiian dance, beaches, sand and sun - yeah it's a good investment. :)
How huge is the property? And where is it located? Not every part of Hawaii is a paradise.
