How professional is your email add? Does it sound like it's an email of a grade school student? Does it sound like it's an email add of an anime fan? Tell us how important is a professional email address?

My professional email add is my real name... no nicks or pet names. You can't be more professional than that.
This is good if you have a professional sounding name. But what if you don't? What if you have a funny name?

Can you give us an example of a name that cannot sound professional?

I once had an email add with my favorite goddess on it... I know it doesn't sound professional and not everyone would care about your religion or ethnicity, that's why I immediately changed it.
I think there are foul words or at least words with double meaning in English that are actually names of some people. I think using them as your email won't really make you sound professional.

I think you can put good and positive adjective words to your email add and still look professional. Just stay away from anime names, numbers, colors, horoscopes and chat language. :)
As long as it is good sounding, it is not like a teen's email address and it is easy to remember then that is professional for me. There is no way that real_estate_cutie_leo@gmail.com would sound professional.
