I want to know what's your idea on this. If you are selling a property, a really nice property that was once a crime scene for murder or anything, let's say 5 years ago... would you disclose it to the buyer / prospective buyer? This is just a theoretical question so don't think that I am selling anything like that.

Unless there is a law in your state that pushes you to disclose it I don't think you should. But that's just me... personally I won't buy a place where the former tenants were murdered. That is just so creepy!
Why would you say anything to them?
Make a house for sale and sell it.
If I was selling a house and someone died in it, which might of happened in one of my houses.ie old people etc. then if they did ask me if anyone had died in the house I would say.
I am not sure, but if you buy it you can change the carpet, if it gets blood on it!

Seriously though, what happened in your house? Hopefully you got it cheap and washed the floors and got the bullet holes filled in!!

how would they ever know?
Lol, it was a theoretical question I think. But yeah, why are you asking?
