It's impressive that you are starting into investing so young. I started around 22 myself. Starting young can be a blessing and a curse. 90% of investors quit before they ever buy their first property.

Promise yourself you will stick to it diligently at least until you have purchased one property.

Yes in the UK. I live in Plymouth, south-west England. Loving the accent haha.

I haven't got into a portfolio just yet. I am only 19 years old and Have wanted to get into properety since school. After school I worked at a lettings (rental) agency to get some knowledge of property, but noticed the real money was being the landlord and owning the property, rather than the commission. So have now got two jobs and just saving at this present time.

But now I have decided I want to have a go at property investing in the USA, because it just seems that alot more people are doing it over there. With real estate investment clubs in every major city, its easier for someone as young as me to get started, with networking, mentoring etc. As well as the pounds to dollar :)

Just one bit of advice though, where would you recomend going to in the states? For an investing perspective?

I see you are in the UK, whereabouts? How's the market across the pond these days? I'd hit you with some of me cockney...but it's VERY rusty

My business partner and I almost picked up a condo near Heathrow Airport two years ago. Given the current exchange rate...pretty glad we passed.

What's your take on Real Estate Investing? How long have you been at it, etc?
