Hey guys, I'm at my wits end and maybe you can help.

I am a new investor trying to get started in Brooklyn Ny. The only thing is that I'm having a hard time trying to get my hands on a list of absentee owners for my county.

So far I have contacted several title companies with no luck. I have tried using the county's tax roll, but they do not disclose names or mailing addresses. I have also spent countless hours on the phone with possibly the most tactless reps for numerous city agencies, I've been hung-up on, put on hold for indefinite amounts of time, dealt with rude responses and given the general run around.

I would probably have more fun banging my head against a wall than deal with a division of the city lol.

So my question is, What other things can I try to get access to this list? And if you're in NY specifically: What other target markets would you recommend marketing to in the nyc area.

Seriously I would build a fr*@kin Shrine in honor of whoever gets my hands on this list.

Thanks in advance guys.

Jonathan,

First things first, you need to download my book and read it cover to cover. Not that I have a big ego (but I used to), but there are a few tactics and resources in there for you to get absentee owners lists.

You'll want to look at RealQuest to help you. I tell you in the book how to get it for 30% of retail.

Click the 'Free System' link at the top of the screen (hint: must be a member to see the link)

Hope this helps,

Matt
